What I can do for you

Need information? I can get it, but it'll cost you.

You see, I specialize in a very different kind of theft, a varied and intricate form of larceny that affords me almost no limits. Is your wife cheating on you? Do you know that? Wouldn't it be nice to have a definitive peace of mind on the situation? I can give you that.

Need to know the code to a specific bank account? Don't know how to access such information? Want to keep your hands entirely out of the situation? I can do that.

Want to know the next big corporate idea? Thinking you've been cheated out of something that was rightfully yours? Need perspective on the entire thing, from the other person's perspective? I can do that.

Afraid your secrets aren't safe? Craving a little good ol' fashioned security? Yeah, I can do that as well.

My services are highly sought after and require a bit of selectivity on my part, according to the intricacy of the job. Unless you've been referred, I can't imagine how you would have found your way here, so suffice to say, good job darling! If you'd like to request my services, further contact info is provided below.

[ Arthur doesn't respond at first, ignoring the first chime of a text in order to continue trying to suffocate himself with the pillow. The second makes him roll back over to grab his phone and -

Yeah, it's about as bad as he expected. The first text is no surprise, he can tell a let down when he hears one. Even if it makes something in his chest clench to see it.

The second he can only view as some kind of pity offer after that, and so he responds. ]

No, it's fine, I'm sure I can take care of it on my own.

[ Arthur's not old enough to drink yet, he hangs out with a beautiful (in his opinion) woman who flirts like she was born to do it, but he's still young. Still not entirely sure how things work and her reaction hasn't made him feel like he's had any success here. ]

Dont' want a pity call.

[ He types it out quickly (hence the small typo) and then sets the phone down again. ]

ignore that html error

[ He feels oddly bad for sending the text so curtly, so he tries (in his own way) to soothe the imagined blow, picking up the phone to text once he's done mashing his face into the pillow for a couple seconds. ]

Just forget I sent the message and don't worry about it.
